Information Management Analyst III is responsible for analyzing and documenting requirements, developing file mapping documents and working with business partners/stakeholders to determine and prioritize requirements. This role works independently and will manage activities related to analysis and support of business data management solutions on large and complex projects. Information Management Analyst III will be responsible for engaging with project managers, developers, testers, stakeholders and business users to ensure business and data requirements are defined, documented and translated into technical requirements in order for the service delivery teams to build and deliver solutions.


We have two exciting opportunities


  • Fallon’s IT Enterprise Data warehouse team is seeking an experienced Information Management Analyst with preferably a background in delivering enterprise data integration and data warehouse solutions.  You will be a key contributor on the Enterprise Data warehouse team identifying and delivering data warehouse-based solutions.


  • The Information Management Business Analyst will be working within the Encounter and Risk Adjustment team, providing active analysis and evaluation of encounter claims edit reports and risk adjustment data.  Experience with government programs strongly desired.













Information Management Analyst III has the opportunity to perform a range of different functions and tasks related to information management, including:



  • Analyze and understand business and data requirements to develop complete business solutions, including business requirement, data analysis, business rules, data life-cycle management, metadata and reporting elements.
  • Develop business requirements by researching / analyzing and documenting business data requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Design and Development Team during technical design, programming, and initial testing phases of projects. Develop the high level testing plan based on documented requirements. Create comprehensive test plans and queries to be used for testing, and document the test results. Validate the output against the business requirements and identify defects.
  • Develop ad hoc reports and data extracts as needed. Review and validate outputs for accuracy.
  • Implement processes aligned to data information management standards and ensure data quality and requirements are developed.
  • Provide support throughout data lifecycle to resolve data issues and support user community by helping users interpret the data.
  • Identify and/or define knowledge transfer and data expertise activities to support business teams using the information management solutions.
  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to data activities for business areas.
  • Evaluate data from various sources and identify patterns and trends to solve complex business cases and provide insights for data-driven decision making.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and optimization in product functionality.
  • Help manage service delivery projects.


        Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required.

  • 7+ years of experience with business, data and technical requirements gathering
  • 5 + years business and data analysis or related experience.
  • 5 + years of experience using Structured Query Languages (SQL, T-SQL, etc.)
  • 3 + years Healthcare Industry experience.
  • Familiarity with data-intensive applications and business applicability in healthcare.
  • Knowledge of project management methods and best practices.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC principles and practices.
  • Broad range of experience gained across software delivery (Business and Data Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Testing, Project Coordination and Management).
  • Excellent understanding of and experience working with data warehousing concepts, relational databases.
  • Experience working directly with business resources in facilitation of business decisions as they relate to technology solutions and plans
  • Strong experience with data management, organization and dissemination techniques
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Work experience in a service delivery organization / team preferred.
  • Experience working with data modeling tools preferred.
  • Experience with regulatory health care mandates from federal and state institutions (encounter, risk adjustment, etc.) preferred.
