Ultrabenefits is seeking an experienced, motivated individual to join our team.
We are currently hiring a full time Account Specialist . Hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm M-F
The Account Specialist serves customers by managing all aspects of account: completing enrollments; processing claims, responding to client and member inquiries, either telephoned or written.
Serves as the primary contact for clients and their members in regards to benefits, eligibility and claims questions. Resolves complaints by investigating issues and composing responses to meet ERISA guidelines.
High school diploma, college degree preferred. Medical billing and coding or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum of 2 years health care industry experience or equivalent
General knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding guidelines and medical terminology preferred.
General ability to enter and process claims efficiently and in a quality manner.
Some knowledge of claim processing from all perspectives (submissions, processing, dependencies)
MS Office and general PC skills.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to function well in a team environment
