Ultrabenefits is seeking an experienced, motivated individual to join our team.

     

    Position Overview:        

     

    We are currently hiring a full time Marketing - Underwriting Assistant . Hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm M-F

     

     

    Responsibilities

    1. Stop Loss Insurance Marketing. – Manage the process of obtaining stop loss quotes for new prospective customers and renewals. 

      Tasks include:
    • Build relationships with current stop loss insurance partners that support UtlraBenefits’ business
    • Prepare Request For Proposal(RFP) data elements including:

            • Census
            • Claim reports
            • Specific/large claim detail reports
            • Benefit Information
            • Current costs

    • Develop narrative/description of the reason for the RFP including any special handling requirements.
    • Distribution of RFP to select stop loss carriers/underwriters
    • Collect proposals
    • Spreadsheet results
    • Review results with sales team
    • Work with carriers on revisions.

     

           2. Support the reporting needs of customers including

            • Standard monthly reports
            • Regular large claim reports
            • Customer Ad-hoc reports

     

            3. Stop Loss Claims Filing Support – Support the filing of stop loss claims with carriers

            4. Stop Loss Contract Customer Tracking – Maintain information on each customer’s stop loss contracts including  

            • Anniversary Dates
            • Contract Terms
            • End of contract notification to claims team.

     

            5. Other support duties as needed.

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma, college degree preferred.

    • Minimum of 2 years health care industry experience or equivalent

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel / strong communication skills / Analytical skills

    • Medical terminology preferred.

    • General ability to enter and process claims efficiently and in a quality manner.

    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to function well in a team environment
