    Brief Summary of Purpose:

    The primary responsibility of the Medicare Operations Coordinator is to maximize productivity of Medicare Sales by providing sales and marketing support that assists in the growth and retention of FH Medicare membership. Additional responsibilities include the implementation/coordination of retention activities for our Medicare products. Provide company and product information, resolve non-complex service issues and close sales as needed.

     

    A good deal of this role will be monitoring sales calls remotely from your desk with an eye towards call compliance, call scripts and regulations.

     

    It is a 40 hour a week role but that could flex to 32 for the right person.    

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with Sales Executives to create an event schedule for all Medicare Sales activity.
    • Maintain event calender and insure accuracy and documentation into the Customer Service database.
    • Maintain the CMS event log. Assist the Consumer Sales Executives at our Medicare Sales events.
    • Produce various reports for Management
    • Field inbound calls from for any FH Medicare products.
    • Track all membership information on our Sales board.
    • Appropriately document all sales/service activity in appropriate data base (Customer Service Database, Avenue, QXNT).
    • Maintain working knowledge of competitor benefit information, health care industry trends, and health care reform activities.
    • Adhere to regulatory guidlines re: Medicare, HIPPA, and FCHP patient confidentiality.
    • Generates written correspondence and sales packets for prospects as requested. Maintains a personal touch in all correspondence and communication with prospects.    
    • Ability to support outside sales representatives at offsite events. Duties include presentations, staffing health fairs and one on one visits.    
    • Work very closely with team members to solve customer problem. Offers solutions and suggestions for process and product improvement to management. Determine, understand and meet prospect needs.
    • Assist in training activities as needed.
    • Comply with Corporate, CMS and department policies and procedures.
    • Support the Sales Executives with any administrative requests that helps support our Membership goals.
    • Responsible for the preparation/compilation of reports related to the departments key objectives
    • Handle all BRC documentation
    • Creat internal procedure documents for all operational tasks
    • Handle all inventory of marketing material
    • Become an expert on internal sales systems such as SharePoint CRM & CSDB
    • Create ROI reports on all marketing campaigns for Navicare

     

     

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    License/Certifications:

    MA Health insurance license or ability to obtain license within 6 months of obtaining position

    Annually, required to pass a product certification exam

    Annually, required to take the AHIP certification

     

    Experience: 

    • 3 years’ experience in sales or service environment
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
    • Knowledge of FH product, plan features and options for all consumer products including Sr. Plan, Commercial coverage, Commonweatlh Care and Mass Health.
    • Demonstrate strong customer service skills and willingness to “own” a prospect from start to finish
