    Brief Summary of Purpose:

    Information Management Analyst I is responsible for analyzing and documenting requirements, developing file mapping documents and working with business partners/stakeholders to determine and document requirements. This role will complete activities related to analysis and support of business data management solutions on small to medium projects with clear requirements. Information Management Analyst I will be responsible for engaging with project managers, developers, testers, stakeholders and business users to ensure business and data requirements are defined, documented and translated into technical requirements in order for the service delivery teams to build and deliver solutions.

    Responsibilities

    Information Management Analyst I has the opportunity to perform a range of different functions and tasks related to information management, including:

    • Analyze and understand business and data requirements in support of business solutions, including business requirement, data analysis, business rules.
    • Research, analyze, and document business data requirements.
    • Collaborate with the Design and Development Team during technical design, programming, and initial testing phases of projects
    • Develop the high level testing plan based on documented requirements. Create test plans and queries to be used for testing, and document the test results.
    • Validate the output against the business requirements and identify defects.
    • Support processes aligned to data information management standards and ensure data quality and requirements are developed.
    • Provide support throughout data lifecycle to resolve data issues and support user community by helping users interpret the data.
    • Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to data activities for business areas.
    • Evaluate data from various sources and identify patterns and trends to solve business concerns and provide insights for data-driven decision making.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and optimization in product functionality.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelor Degree or Equivalent experience required.

     

    License/Cerfications:

    N/A

     

    Experience:

    • 1+ years of experience with business, data and technical requirements gathering
    • 1+ years business and data analysis or related experience.
    • 1+ years of experience using Structured Query Languages (SQL, T-SQL, etc.)
    • 1+ years of experience in Excel, Visio, and MS Office applications
    • Some experience with software delivery (Business and Data Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Testing, and/or Project Coordination).
    • Understanding of data warehousing, business intelligence and relational database concepts and technologies.
    • Organization and presentation skills
    • Analytical skills.
